A belated thank you to Yvonne and Alison for Parents' Day last week. As I sat in on the lessons I thought about how far my fuzzy-haired three-year old has come in the last TEN YEARS dancing with Yvonne and her colleagues!

No more pink-clad girls pretending to be fairies with good toes and fairy windows but a class full of elegant, confident young women with a fabulous rapport with the teachers who obviously know them really well. Working hard and really thinking about their dancing, most of which is communicated to them in French.

Just wanted to say thank you very much for once again opening your studio doors for the Parents Days. It has been most enjoyable to watch the classes and I am impressed at just how much all the children have progressed since last time.

It was with great joy that we learned that Madeleine had achieved a Distinction for her Primary Dance exam. We were absolutely thrilled and wish to note our deep gratitude to you for all your hard work in preparing her for the exam. Your dedication is palpable and your standards exacting and challenging. Madeleine has gained so much from this experience – we see the skills she has learned in dance transfer to so many other aspects of her life. We continue to delight in being part of the “Yvonne Gray Dance Family”. This result reflects the excellence of your whole team – all the teachers who have developed Madeleine to this point. Thank you so much for all you have done for our daughter. When things are tough at school, we often remind Madeleine of how hard she works at dance to reap the rewards of fun and a sense of ownership over her performance. Bravo one and all.

Thanks to all of you who worked so hard. The show was really enjoyable - the little ones were so cute, the costumes were amazing and they all seemed to be really enjoying themselves. The dancing was all super, especially the Inter Foundation pupils. Wow! Every one of those girls are so talented and they all had lovely big smiles. My mum and David's parents really enjoyed the show and found it very entertaining. We all appreciate the work you put in. Thank you again.

Dear Yvonne Just wanted to say what a fantastic evening saturday was. i was amazed how good all the dancers were. and particularly amazed/impressed that my own daughter (katie henderson) managed to dance beautifully and was not overwhelmed with the stage and audience size (as her family was!!) many thanks also for helping out with katie’s hair - i now think i might be able to replicate the hair (bun) for a next time.... best wishes
